Etiquette and Hunting Policies:
- Please keep all dogs leashed unless you are hunting with them in the field.
- Park only in the designated area for the field you are hunting. Do not drive in the fields. Please help keep parking areas clean.
- Be aware of YOUR hunting field boundaries. DO NOT Trespass on property surrounding YOUR hunting field. If a bird is dropped outside of the field boundary, ask for one of us to assist in retrieval.
- ANYONE seen hunting outside their assigned hunting field may be asked to leave without refund.
- When shooting, be aware of the dogs, other hunters, and what is beyond your target. Damage resulting to neighboring property or hunting dogs due to unsafe shooting WILL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE SHOOTER.
- When your hunt is finished, please return to the office to check in birds and receive a shipping tag prior to transporting the birds.
- For insurance reasons, EVERYONE carrying a gun afield will be required to sign a general liability waiver prior to hunting.
- There will be no charge for shooting extra birds that may be left over from previous hunts in your assigned field during your scheduled hunt.
- Hunting times are as follows:
a. Morning hunts start at 8:00 a.m. and end at 12:00 p.m.
b. Afternoon hunts start at 1:00 p.m. and end at 5:00 p.m.
Bird cleaning is available upon request
(Please see the Rates page for Pricing).
- If we are running our dogs for your hunt:
- We ask that you do not shoot at birds flying below eye level or on the ground, out of concern for the dogs safety.
- Try to stay in line with other hunters. Do not get ahead or behind the line of other hunters.
- Often we encounter multiple flushes. Please help the dogs with the marking of downed birds that they may not see.
- Dogs will typically only retrieve birds to the guide. They do not mean to offend whoever shot but they know who feeds them.
