Ring-neck pheasant hunting at a Big Creek Ranch Tower Hunt takes you back to old traditions. This type of hunting experience will challenge even the best of shooters as explosive, cackling birds fly hard and fast over each of the gunners. You'll find that the majestic scenery offered by the Big Creek Ranch's sprawling 269 acres of natural Michigan grasses and good old weeds, surrounded by cedar swamps and high timber, while accompanied by over three miles of creek and ditch banks make this the perfect pheasant sanctuary for your hunting thrills.

This truly is the hunt you've been waiting for! Whether you are a seasoned hunter with scores of stories and memories or a young novice hunter new to the experience of harvesting ring-neck pheasants, you will love this hunt! A Big Creek Ranch Tower Hunt consists of 10 individual shooting stations that hold up to two hunters a piece, therefore accommodating between 10 -20 hunters total. As the hunt unfolds, the shooters will be rotated throughout each of the stations to be sure everyone receives equal shooting opportunities. Remember to carry a lot of ammo with you because these "kings of the game birds" will be flying fast and hard and providing you with plenty of chances to unload your gun. This shooting adventure is something that cannot be described, it must be experienced! When the last of the birds has been liberated, you will break to relax while the guides gather up the downed birds and begin cleaning them. After lunch, the hunters are encouraged to perform a time-honored Michigan walk-up hunt with guides and dogs to round up the cunning birds that were savvy enough to elude your first shots. At the completion of the afternoon walk-up hunt, we'll reconvene around the campfire to share the day's great stories and divide all of the fallen birds equally.

Our Big Creek Ranch Tower Hunt Packages are located on 269 contiguous, cover-filled acres. Tower hunts are available for your private group, or open for public bookings (see our calendar for offered general Tower Hunt dates). Ten stations will hold between 10 - 20 hunters. We can customize and cater the hunt to your party's specifications.

Tower Hunt Package - $175 per hunter

<< Go Back A Big Creek Ranch “Open Invitation” Tower Hunt provides a tailor made opportunity for small groups or individual hunters to not only enjoy this incredible hunting experience, but also the ability to engage in the camaraderie of other hunters.

These open Tower Hunts are scheduled for the 3rd Saturday of each month, excluding the months of September and November (see calendar for dates). Open Invitation Tower hunts are booked on a “first come, first serve” basis. Call to book or for more information at 233-4545. To secure a place before all spots are reserved, each hunter will need to send a check for $75.00 to:

The check will need to be received no later than two weeks prior to the hunt or your spot may be eliminated. The balance will be paid upon arrival to the Big Creek Ranch on the day of the pheasant hunt. These hunts book quickly!

Attention ALL Hunters:
Any additional pheasants purchased per hunter are $17.00 each. Prices subject to change after January 1st of each year (see pheasant rates).

No magnum loads allowed!
No short brass ammunition allowed! #6 shot or smaller (Steel or copper coated shot preferred) - The Big Creek Ranch will provide for sale additional ammo if necessary.

Shooting glasses required. Available if needed on site.

Ear protection suggested.

Dress appropriately for the weather.

9:30 A.M. – Upon arrival meet at the BCR trailer for continental breakfast and welcomes

9:45 A.M. – Clay trap warm-up shoot in the corral followed by group rules and procedures explanation
